Administrative Office of the Courts names new state law librarian, assistant law librarian

The Administrative Office of the Courts has announced the promotion of Jennifer L. Frazier to the position of state law librarian and J. Reed Ennis to the position of assistant state law librarian.

Jennifer Frazier joined the State Law Library staff in March 2003 as legal counsel and was promoted to assistant law librarian in May 2005. Before coming to the State Law Library, she practiced with Donald H. Smith Law Offices in Louisville. Frazier earned a bachelor's degree from Northern Kentucky University and a juris doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law. She was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in October 2001.

J. Reed Ennis has served as a staff attorney for the State Law Library since December 2005. Prior to joining the library staff, he worked in private practice in Louisville. Ennis holds a bachelor's degree and a juris doctor from the University of Louisville. While in law school he served as managing editor for the Brandeis Law Journal. Ennis was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in October 2003.

The State Law Library is located on the second floor of the state Capitol. It provides publications for local judicial libraries, and research and reference assistance to Kentucky judges and the public.

The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Kentucky Court of Justice and supports the activities of more than 3,500 court system employees, including the elected offices of justices, judges and circuit court clerks. The AOC also executes the Judicial Branch budget.
