Department of Public Information

The Department of Public Information is responsible for providing communications support to the Kentucky Court of Justice. The Department of Public Information is committed to producing high-quality communications that help the public better understand and use the resources provided by the state court system.

The Department of Public Information responds to the many media inquiries that come into the AOC regarding state courts and serves in an advisory capacity for justices, judges and circuit court clerks who request assistance with media relations. The DPI also writes and distributes news releases on behalf of the court system.

The Department of Public Information provides graphic design and editing services to all AOC departments to ensure that Court of Justice materials provide a clear, consistent message. This department also serves as the point of contact from the beginning of a project through the final printing/distribution.

The AOC webmaster is responsible for the daily operation of the Kentucky Court of Justice Web site.

The Web site will soon benefit from two upgrades:

• The recent move to a new operating platform affiliated with ky.gov, the company that operates the Kentucky Executive Branch Web site, which will allow for easier navigation and new functions through enhanced technology.
• A comprehensive revision of the Web site's information, which will take place over the coming months.

The AOC Print Shop and Mail Room are located on the Millcreek Park campus. Print Shop personnel are responsible for printing, warehousing and distributing Court of Justice legal forms, letterhead and other publications essential to the business of the courts. This division also provides postal and UPS shipping services to the Millcreek Park offices.
